A Christmas Eve photo recap!!

Jane, Hannah, disembodied head Susanna and Sarah at Starbucks.

The pre-schoolers dancing to Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. This picture does not fully capture their incredible cuteness.

.
The old Great America crew, reunited- Suki, Sarah, Jane, Hannah, Suha.

The "Younger sisters who are taller and weirder than their older sisters Club"- Yu sisters, Yi sisters, Kim sisters.

But let's be honest here- we're all weird.

Merry Christmas friends!

Actually, it's not Christmas anymore because it's 2:42 am, but still. I've had a great day of eating, eating and playing. Woke up late, then opened some presents with the fam. I'm very happy- I got new socks, some cash money, and an awesome ihome from Sarah (one of those things that is a clock radio alarm you can put your ipod into). Funny thing is, Sarah showed mom what she got me and told her she was going to eventually get one for herself, and then mom went and bought the same thing for Sarah! We laughed. It was funny. Kind of a bummer that there was no Phil or Jo, but we're headed down to LA at the end of the week, so more holiday fun will ensue then.

After our big ass lunch (that was deeeelicious), spent the rest of the day setting up the new alarm clock, writing emails, chatting and being a lazy bum. The Kim's came over for some board games and Sarah's greek dessert, and then we watched LittleMissSunshine. Which was awesome. I was cracking up when i was watching it, and the ending had me bowled over with laughter. It was sweet, poignant, serious and touching. And funny.

I have two weeks of vacation left, and I intend to enjoy them. Probably headed to the young adult retreat tomorrow until Thursday, and then leaving for LA on Friday. Going to stay down there until midweek. Can't wait!

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

O Come All Ye Faithful
Joyful and triumphant,
O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem.
Come and behold Him,
Born the King of Angels;
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord.

O Sing, choirs of angels,
Sing in exultation,
Sing all that hear in heaven God's holy word.
Give to our Father glory in the Highest;
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord

I love Christmas carols.

Merry Christmas to all my friends out there. I hope you have a blessed day.

STICK A FORK IN ME.

Cause I am done.

New procrastination record: my paper was due at midnight, I emailed it at 11:57 pm. Winner. I'm a winner.

Lots of stuff to do tomorrow, but first- a good night's sleep. Aahhhhh.

Also, I am halfway done with law school. Yeeeah.

Yesterday's goal: 8 pages
What actually happened: 1 page

Today's goal: 14 pages.
Even if I don't sleep, I will get this stupid thing done before the sun comes up tomorrow.

DREAD PAPER OF DEATH! How I hate thee.

12/18/06

1:30 am- went to sleep
6:45 am- woke up
7:00 am- dragged my ass out of bed
8:30 am- 11:15 am- got my ass handed to me by my biz org final.
12:00 pm- ate some shin ramen.

I am currently contemplating taking a nap. And then I must write like a maniac for the next 58 hours.

Yes, my life is very full.

Living On a Prayer
I'm getting chubby, my face breaking out, and I've been rotating the same three pairs of elastic waist stretchy pants every day.

Yup, finals is here.

I've pretty much been living at the library since Thanksgiving. I'm estimating that for every hour I get work done, I spend a bajillion goofing off. But, I've gotten through two (I'm halfway there!) and now I have a final and the dread paper of death and then I'm done. Woooo.

Ho Ho Ho No Mo
Christmas is almost here! I've done zero shopping and have zero money. And I have zero Christmas spirit. However, I think that's symptomatic of being an embittered student. As soon as finals are over I'll have Christmas spirit coming outta my frakkin ears.

The Future of America
Last weekend at school there was a high school debate tournament. Despite the parking problems this created, I found the whole thing incredibly amusing. There were loads of adolescent kids walking around in ill fitted suits, with their gawkiness and pimples and emo haircuts and parents hanging around. I would say 75 percent of the kids were Indian or Chinese/Korean. I guess if you're not good at math, science or badminton, you debate nowadays.

Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Lose. Repeat.
Speaking of nerds, last Wednesday after my final I sat in front of my computer and watched 7 episodes of my new favorite show FridayNightLights. Seriously. Best. Show. Ever. It combines two of my favorite things- sports and teen drama. KyleChandler is awesome, the football scenes are exciting, and the plot just sucks you in. But my favorite favorite part of the show is the blossoming romance between coach's daughter Julie and backup quarterback MattSaracen, the most awkward, endearing kid ever. Also, Saracen is played by NU alum ('04) ZachGilford, so go Cats. Seriously, watch this show. NBC put all the episodes online: http://www.nbc.com/Friday_Night_Lights/

The cast of the best show ever.

The cast of the best family ever. Better known as mom, brother, sisters, in laws, cousins, and baby, hanging out during Thanksgiving.

Peace out. Next time I write, hopefully I'll be done and drunk as a skunk.
