Ok. I'm never going to find a job. I am going to be a blob of worthless nothings, live in my momma's house and eat lots of bap and kimchee. But seriously folks, is it just me or does everyone have a job except me? And Byun. Am I going to end up being a pile, a drain on society, a big monkey?

Now that I've gotten that out of my system.... Dude. Jess Ko's blogs the last two times have been awesome. Especially cause she got to meet B.D. Wong! I saw him earlier this year when he came to speak, and he was so great. So I'm very jealous of her. I wish I was going to live in New York City, and got to go to cool places and see cool people.

Man, I'm just full of self-loathing. Snap out of it, me!

So lately I've been watching a lot of "I Love the 80s" on VH1. This show is so awesome. On New Year's Day, my brother sister and I watched pretty much every year of the series. And it's been on pretty often, so I've caught parts of '82, '83, '86 and '87 over the past couple weeks. Sooooo funny. Especially when they bring up the toys-- Cabbage Patch Kids, Teddy Ruxpin, Pound Puppies, etc. And the TV shows-- Diff'rent Strokes, Family Ties, Small Wonder, Facts of Life, etc. Makes me laugh a lot. And you know what's weird? At some point they're going to come out with "I Love the 90s"? I mean, I remember a lot of the 80s, but really really know the 90s. But you know what? I really do love the 80s. : )

Yesterday was JoyPark's birthday! Happy birthday Joy! Hooray for future roommates! To celebrate, we painted a rock on the lakefill with a little birthday message, and froze our butts off in the cold waiting for her, followed by cake, chips and guac, and good times all around.

Hanging out with Jason with weekend was fun. We mainly chilled. And ate. A LOT. As fun as it was to have Jason there, I think the actual highlight of my weekend was seeing sweet Jaemi Ko, my awesome former roommate. Hooray for Chipotle! Mmmmm... Chipotle....

Yesterday, I went to a lecture by FrankWu, a law professor at Howard University. He gave a talk on his book "Yellow: Race in America beyond Black and White." It was very interesting. I am reading his book right now. Very interesting. I'll write about Prof. Wu's book when I'm done reading it. Or I could just write about another book I'm (re)reading right now called, "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." Now, I think this is probably my least favorite out of the four, probably because I really love the other three a lot and I just like this one. But it's still pretty cool. Basilisk=scary. And that Ron Weasley! So funny! His entire family just cracks me up.

Yo. I'm graduating in less than two months. Holy CRAP!!!!

I have two mangos in my room, just waiting to be eaten. Who wants one? Anyone want to join me in eating a mango?

I realize that I really don't have anything to say anymore. I just don't the energy to write about those things that are deeply troubling me-- the future of Iraq, what I'll be doing after June, my health-- nor do I have the energy to write about the trivial things that are always present in my little brain-- San Francisco Giants, what's on TV tonight, chocolate. So, I'm off. Happy trails to you. Until we meet again. Probably in a couple days : )

Dang. I've been really bad about blogging lately. I feel like I've been really busy, even if I really haven't. My days have been filled with selling donuts, working, watching A LOT of TV, and looking for jobs. So if you want to hang out with me, just give me a call. Cause guess what-- I have nothing to do!!

Actually, yes I do. Because yes, I have ANOTHER visitor. I'm not complaining though, cause it's Mr. Jason Hahn! Visiting from Greenville! Hooray! I feel kinda bad, cause it's dang cold, and I just can't bear the thought of going anywhere. But I'm having fun subjecting him to TLC, hitting him just cause I feel like it, and teasing him like crazy. hahahah. Having brothers is cool!

Still looking for jobs. Haven't heard back from any of the places I applied to yet. It's supposed to take 4-8 weeks, so I suppose I just need to be patient. Too bad government bureacracy/red tape SUCKS!!!!

Today is Good Friday. Thank you, Jesus.

Jess Ko is coming tomorrow! HOLLLA! I'm very excited to be reunited with my beloved ex-roommie. I bet you do, you.... well, you know the rest of it. Hahah! Hooray for good memories and good friends!!

That's it. Time to go. Late for Focus!

Hello. Hello. HELLO.

So, Minsoo's been in town since Wednesday. Good times. Man, my family is so freakin' fun. Get me, Phil and Sarah together, and let the laughter commence. We chilled all day Thursday, and ended up just watching TV all night.... just as if we were back at home. AND, we watched Better Luck Tomorrow on Friday night! Hooray! It was really cool watching it in the theater. I'd seen it before, but the ending was a little different. Don't really know how I felt about it. Still thinking.

Anyway, Phil's leaving today. After almost two straight weeks of cool people hanging out with me in Evanston, starting tomorrow I'll have nothing to do, no one to entertain. I swear, I'm going to be so good for the rest of the quarter. I'm sure I'll have plenty to occupy myself with.... uh, yeah. Anyone wanna play?

Hey! I'm moving to D.C. next year. With or without a job, after graduation, I'm moving out and trying out the East Coast life. Craaaaazy.

Go Giants! 10-1. Playing the Dodgers today. BEAT L.A.!!! BEAT L.A.!!!

So yeah. That's really all that's going on in my life. Sigh.

Oh man. Last week was nuts. Jane was in town till Thursday, then Susanna came to town right after her. Dude, it was COLD this weekend. I think being outside with Susanna for so long in the cold got me sick. Boo. But it was worth it, cause we had good times.

So what have I been doing lately? Good question. I faxed two job applications today-- I hope they went through the fax machine at the house is kinda old. I'm going to mail another one on tomorrow. I've been working too. But basically, I've not been doing much. Especially at night. I've watched A LOT of tv. Somebody play with me! I need a life!!

Yo, my Giants are doing awesome. Hooray!

I feel like I haven't seen my friends a lot lately. So if you're reading this, and you're my friend.... call me, don't be afraid, just call me, maybe it's late, you can call me, baby and i'll be arooouuuuuund.

Ok, once again it's been a whole since I've posted. But I've been busy! Really, I have.

JaneKim, one of my oldest friends in the world, has been hanging out with me in Evanston all week! Hooray! She came Monday, and we've had a very good time. I've showed her Evanston and Chicago, she met a lot of my friends, we ate a lot. Fun times all around. But that's not all! Fun times continue after Jane leaves tonight! Jane departs at 8, and then SusannaHan, my other oldest friend in the world, is arriving at 9:30! WOOOHOOO! Too bad it's motha cold out here. Me thinks SusannaHan is going to freeze her little buns off. Oh well....

Been looking for jobs. Mainly in government agencies, in D.C. Thanks to JessChung for giving me some tips and being a cool girl. Wow. I need a jooooobbbbbbbb.

Baseball season has started, folks. Giants swept the Padres this week in their season opener. They're headed off to Milwaukee to play the Brewers next. Go Giants!!
