I'm back! I guess. I was reminded yesterday how long it's been since I last blogged. So here I am.
Just a couple random things....
Happy Birthday JOY!!!!! Today is my former roomie JoyPark's birthday. Wishing her lots of love on this wonderful day. I hope you get your puppy.
Today is also earth day. I try to be as environmentally friendly as possible, but I have to admit I'm probably pretty bad. New goal: find ways to lessen my carbon footprint and preserve and protect the environment.
Job update: still at Findlaw. It's ok. I'm trying to appreciate being here, and having income, and working in an air conditioned office with nice people. So while I will continue to look for other employment, I am trying to be grateful for this opportunity as well.
Going to LA this weekend to see the sibs! Wooo!
Last weekend, I went to a funeral and also took my parents out for their anniversary. It was a weekend of mourning, and of being grateful for all that I have and for the way my family has been so blessed.
I am very very excited about some of the movies coming out in the next couple months. StarTrek looks DOPE (what. a. nerd.) Wolverine looks fun (although I can't figure out from the preview who are the good guys and bad guys, aside from wolverine and sabretooth. is danielhenney good or bad?? also, timriggins!!!!!). Also, Up and HarryPotter. Also, I still kind of want to see FastandFurious. Kinda. Does my curiousity to see big brother on the big screen outweigh my lack of desire to see the movie and dislike of PaulWalker? Jury's still out.
Weddings and babies. The past couple years I've gone or been invited to a lot of weddings. This year I only have two weddings so far, but I guess those couples whose weddings I went to have been decided its time to start popping out kids, cause instead of weddings I have babies. Lots of babies. I know two couples who had babies recently, and at least three preggos.
The first third of 2009 has kind of sucked. Bad things have happened to my friends, and things haven't exactly been awesome for me. I've decided the rest of 2009 is going to be awesome. And that's that.
