Update

There is absolutely nothing new going on. Hm. Actually, there have been a few things here and there...

I started a soul sucking temp job last month. I'm a contracter at a legal website, doing work that any monkey with one year of law school could do, but they seem to think an actual attorney is necessary. It pays crap... but money is money. The biggest drawback is that it's leaving me little time and energy to engage in an actual job search.

Had two job interviews in February. Rejected from both. BOoooo. And so the job search continues. The economy sucks, people are getting laid off left and right, and here I am looking for a gainful employment along with gajillions of other lawyers. Awesome.

My cousin in law is (still) living with us.

Watched Watchmen on Friday. I liked it. Didn't love it. I think in making it so true to the graphic novel (or so I've been told) the filmmakers sacrified the pacing, because the first half was sooo slow, and the end felt rushed. Also, the main baddy had a crazy pet tiger/cat/antelope thing.

I watched LawandOrder:UK last week online. Wanna know why? I'll tell you why. The nerdiest sentence I have ever written: it stars Apollo from Battlestar and MarthaJones from DoctorWho. So I watched. Ha. It's the same thing as the American version... I just have to rewind a lot more cause I often have no idea what the heck they're saying.

Speaking of Battlestar- Oh.Em.Gee. Next week is the series finale, and these past couple episodes have been CRAAAAZY. I cannot wait to watch, but I'm also super sad it's over. It's consistently been a freakin amazing show, and has kept me entertained and thrilled since I first started watching it almost three years ago. Seriously. Best show on TV.

I have new Kelly Clarkson and new U2 on repeat on my ipod. Both fantastic.

Jen is visiting this week. Ms. Tse got a big fancy job with the SPLC in Atlanta. I'm proud to bursting. Congrats dude- you deserve it! Now go help some trafficked people and punish the big bad traffickers.

Messy and Chris got engaged. Congrats!!!! I blog stalk both of them (kinda. i think they know i read their blogs. i think?) and I adore both of them. Let's go bowling to celebrate! It's fun watching Chris destroy Danny.

I didn't sleep much this weekend. Very very tired. And very very cranky. Peace out.
