Ellis Island: Open for Business

Yesterday, one of my cousin's moved into my house. He just graduated from college, got a job in MtnView and needs a place to crash until he finds a place. Since Ellis Island aka the 1749Linnet aka my house has a few vacancies, he's sleeping here.

This is just one more family member in a looooong, loooooong line of family members who have stayed with us. Some for years, some for months, some for weeks. And it seems like someone is always visiting from Korea. Actually, this cousin stayed at our house for a couple months when his family first immigrated. He commented on how different our house was. Yup, Ellis Island got a bit of a makeover a couple years back.

He's a cool kid. I'm just a little bummed. I like having the upstairs to myself. I can walk around nekkid, shower with the door open, and use all three rooms as closet/storage space. I also had to clear a shelf in the medicine cabinet. Boo.

Ah well. Guests are temporary. Family is forever!
