Today I also got a certificate of recognition from the Califronia State Assembly. Now, everyone knows I'm a geek, so an official certificate from the CA Legislature with the cool seal and the cool gold embossed lettering-- that's pretty freakin' awesome for me. So imagine my feelings when I read the certificate and it said, "In honor or your commitment to social justice, community and doing your part to insure the protection of American civil liberties" (emphasis added).

A little piece of me died inside.
