It's been a while since I've blogged. The spirit just hasn't moved me. But here I am.

It's a cold and yucky day outside. We had some awesome sunshine and warmth earlier in the week, but it was just a tease. I want springtime!! It might have already passed though. In DC, it pretty much goes straight from winter to summer.

I'm obsessed with a new show called "VeronicaMars." It's funny, smart and pretty awesome. More importantly, I was watching it, and this one guy looked really familiar to me. I so I googled him, and sure enough, the actor who plays Duncan.Kane is played by Teddy.Dunn, who graduated from Northwestern in 2003! I knew he looked familiar! Yay NU alum. BTW, I saw this girl who I always saw on campus and who was also a waitress at 1800Club in a Quiznos commercial. But I still don't like Quiznos.

I finally bought a digital camera! It's cute and small and awesome. I love it!! Can't wait to start taking lotsa goofy pictures.

The republicans in the House and Senate are really pissing me off. Trying to stop filibusters= LAME. They're a part of the process! Deal with it! Passing the energy bill= LAME. Let's just say I think drilling in the Alaska Wildlife Refuge is an AWFUL idea. It's all very shortsighted and harmful to the country. But hey, they're getting what they want now, which is what really matters. The future really is not their problem.

Sigh. This weather and this Congress is really getting me down. Time to move away from DC and get all this crap outta my head. I would like to become an apathetic, superficial, LA party girl, please.

Oy, get me some caffeine, stat.
