I can't believe I'm awake this early. I've been here three days, and I'm still not adjusting well... I get sleepy around 9PM, and wake up around 6-7 AM. Sucks. However, days have been great and it's fun being here.
I finally met my new cousin-in-law, aka the white guy. Pretty nice. How crazy is it that it's not me, the American cousin, who's going to be the first one to marry a white guy, but my Korean cousin. Yay for her though.
Since I got here my skin has been going crazy.
Meeting up with some NU friends today, and then dad's relatives tomorrow.
Some things about Korea.
- There are a lot more import cars since the last time I was here. Mercedes, BMW's, VWs, Audi's everywhere. Yesterday I saw two Maserati's.
- Little kids here walk around the city by themselves all the time. I see kids who can't be more than five or six walking, riding the bus, etc. all by themselves in the city. Something you don't see very much in the States.
-Yesterday my mom and three of her sisters, plus me and seven of my girl cousins all ended up sitting around the kitchen table at my aunt's place until late, laughing and talking. You want to know where I get my loudness/craziness? It's genetic.
Signing off from the Motherland.
