Back from Korea. I'm jetlagged and feeling a little ill, but overall it's nice to be home. The last couple days in Korea were crazy. My cousin's wedding consumed all my time, in a good way. It was really fun to be part of that kind of family gathering. My cousin was a beautiful bride, and my new cousin in law seems like a cool dude. But Korean weddings-- man, those things are nutty.
Speaking of nutty, on Saturday night I went to a noraebang with a whole mess of older cousins and the new couple and a few of their friends who came out from the States. We sang a lot and drank a WHOLE LOT. Those Koreans know how to drink and party, and the Americans weren't far behind. One of my cousins showed us a Korean army drinking tradition, which was very painful looking and absolutely hilarious. I think the night was the highlight of my trip.
Another highlight was hanging out with GelaPark and JanetChoi, my two awesome buddies. We watched "the complete works of shakespere abridged" and ate a lot and laughed a lot. Just like old times.
So now after a gajillion hours of traveling, I'm back at work. My inbox is disgusting and I have yet to check my voicemail. I can't believe I'm quitting in two months!!
