Sorry it's been so long since I've posted. Don't know what came over me. I just didn't feel a compelling reason to write. But alas, almost a week has passed and my blog has been sadly neglected. Time to remedy that.

Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday to my fabulous, incredible, wonderful roommate and friend JoyPark! Holla.

Old friends Met up with MarcusJang this weekend, older brother of my best friend from high school. Since the last time I saw him, he graduated from college, started med school and got MARRIED. My how things have changed. It was wonderful to see and talk to him, and I'm very impressed at the man he has become. I'm just bummed I didn't get to meet his wife.

Weather It's been gorgeous and beautiful and nice and warm lately.
And I've been a much happier person. You know how weather effects people's moods? That's very true for me, but on an extreme scale. When it's warm and sunshiney and beautiful outside, I am a different person. People have noticed changes in my behavior because of the weather. If I lived in San Diego, I'd probably pass out from being too happy. Seriously.

North Korea My parents are in Korea right now visiting relatives, and they recently took a trip to North Korea, to one of those tourist places that North Korea allows people to go to and spend money. Mom said that the difference between the two countries was huge, and she felt very lucky that her family is from South Korea. What an experience! Very cool. I'm just glad the North Koreans didn't kidnap them.

Minsoo Minsoo asked me if I've been hanging around any fountains lately. Not yet. But it's next on my to do list. Right after buy a camel.

So this weekend in DC is the big March for Women's Lives. I'm trying to decide whether I should go. I would want to because it'll be huge and I think very empowering to see so many women marching for an important cause. Also, I know someone who's worked really really hard to help organize for it, and I'd like to support her. I'm a little hesitant though, because of some of my personal views on abortion. Which I will keep personal. But I'm leaning towards going because I do think it's important to protect overall a women's reproductive choices and health. Things like family planning, reproductive health, sex education are important and need to be protected, nationally and internationally. Cause if some people in this country had their way, birth control would be banned, pelvic exams would be outlawed and any control a woman has over her body would be eliminated. And frankly, I don't think this administration would give a crap. By the way-- abstinence only intiatives? That's crap.
Wow. So. I had no idea I was thinking all these things. So I guess I'm going. March on, sisters. Let's not let THE MAN hold our uteruses down.
