Greetings from windy DC! Another great weekend goes by. Highlight: a guest appearance by my buddy Meaghan Fothergill, aka MoFo. Hung out on Saturday, went to church together on Sunday, and then hung out the rest of the day. We went to the Tidal Basin to see the cherry blossoms, and we almost got blown away. I hear winds were gusting to 40 mph, and it felt like it. There were ocean size waves in the Tidal Basin. Ridiculous. But besides that, good times all around!
This weekend, the DC area spelling bee was on TV, and it was awesome. Dude, if I was in a spelling bee right now, I'd be knocked out in the second round. Some of those words were dang hard. The kid who won was hilarious. He had a bowl haircut, and the most unexpressive face I've ever seen. Even when he won, his smile looked so unnatural. I need to go watch "Spellbound." Cause now I'm hooked on spelling bees.
April's going to be a good month. I can feel it.
