It's Saturday morning, 9:38 AM. Guess where I am?? At work!! Crazy. Big meeting going on, I'm helping out. It'll be nice to get the overtime pay. Cause I sho need it.

The thing about Washington DC is, it's a 9-5 kind of town, especially the downtown area. Most people live in the outskirts of the city, or in the suburbs, so it's completely empty around here during the evenings and weekends. Seriously, walking to work this morning, it's like a ghost town around here.

Update on my bracket:
St. Louis-- I got 5 right and 3 wrong (I picked Pacific! See, my California instinct paid off.)
East Rutherford-- 6 right, 2 wrong.
Atlanta-- 5 right, 3 wrong.
Phoenix-- 7 right, 1 wrong.
Not bad right? Especially considering my lack of basketball knowledge.

Here's something that's been on my mind lately: I need to change the world and make it a better place. I've been thinking a lot about law school lately, and I'm starting to believe more and more that it might be the best way for me to do that, even if it's in a small way. I look at some of the lawyers around me, and they work in law and policy to try to make things better in this country. I'm trying to figure out how to fulfill God's vision for my life is, and part of my thinking is that I don't think He would have me care so deeply about issues of poverty, civil rights, immigration etc. if He didn't want me to try to help people in some of those areas. Right? So that's why I'm thinking about law school and/or grad school. It's all still very hazy though. I need to think about this more. Any thoughts out there? Suggestions?
