Korea 2008!
Last week I went to Korea with Mom, Dad, Phil and Jo, where we had loads of fun with little sister Sarah. Hung out with family, ate good food, played with baby cousins, ate good food, did some touristy stuff, and ate good food. Here's my photo recap!
Monday
Went down to Jeonju to see dad's relatives and hiked up a mountain to visit my grandmother's grave. It was nice.

Also went to this folk village/historic place. This is me in front of the shrine that's supposed to find unmarried people a good spouse if they prayed inside. Maybe that's why mom and wanted to go.

My mom had fun reliving her childhood on the old-school swings.

Tuesday
At a cell phone store near Ewha.

The sisters and I on the subway. We spent a lot of time on the subway.

Sarah and her class of gangsters. I mean, English learners.

We went to the Kimchi Field Museum. We were the only ones there.

Wednesday
Went on a tour of one of the palaces. Here we are in front of... something.

Phil, me, Jo and my oldest cousin Yoora.

Thursday
We went to the DMZ! It was crazy. Phil and Jo and Sar flash their UN guest badges.

We couldn't leave the bus to go into those buildings because of a meeting, but that concrete line in the distance is the border between North and South Korea. South Korean soldiers in the foreground, North in the far background.

The bridge of no return. Once you walk it to NorthKorea, you can't come back.

We went down this long ass tunnel the NKs built into South Korea in order to invade. Here we are in front of the military police.

After DMZ we went to a family get together. These are two of my cousin's kids. The little boy is a troublemaker, the little girl looks like a cabbage patch doll.

She is just the cutest thing.

Friday
More touristy stuff. Hung out in InsaDong. Me and Sarah and ddalki.

Don't forget the robot.

Had fun in Hongdae.

Saturday and Sunday
We went with all our cousins to do karaoke. I believe we were rockin' out to Livin' on a Prayer. Good times.

Um. Yes.

We left on Sunday. Cousins and Sarah saying bye.

Goodbye Korea.
