Today I listened to a FreshAir podcast that interviewed DaveGrohl of the FooFighters. They talked a lot about FooFighters stuff, and then they talked about Nirvana, and played SmellsLikeTeenSpirit and another Nirvana song. I was immediately transported to junior high, and the days of Nirvana, NineInchNails, Soundgarden, PearlJam etc, when kids wore the grungy band shirts and plaid flannel shirts and Vans. I still remember what all the band shirts looked it.

Some of my friends think I'm kind of weird, because when I hear a song the first thing I do is place it into context of what grade I was in, and what stage of my life I was in.

Anyways, I listened to DaveGrohl, and Nirvana, and it made me a little sad. Because I'm reminded of KurtCobain, and reminded of GalenReid and that spring of 8th grade, and that makes me sad.
