Notes and musings...
Went to Vegas last weekend. It was CRAZY. I haven't been since I was a kid, and I was very impressed by how ostentatious and outlandish it was. It was a fun weekend with my girls, that involved a lot of food, drinks, dancing and laughing. Pictures to come.
Lately my life has consisted of TV, internet, gym, and a bit of class thrown in here and there. Something needs to change.
Speaking of TV... favorite new shows:
PrivatePractice- not as good as Greys in its heyday, but I love the actors in it. And I'm really hating the characters in Greys, so this is a good replacement.
Life- my new favorite show. Crime drama, with interesting characters and interesting dialogue.
Chuck- geekiness is funny.
My mom brought this big salami back from Germany. It's delicious. She also brought back delicious delicious chocolate, which I am trying to horde.
I bought shiny flats last weekend. I'm debating on whether my love for them is enough to warrant brownish-red patent flats. Do I own enough stuff to wear with them? These are the pressing issues in my mind. Where's your sister when you need her???
I've played the Wii. And I am in love. I'm not a big video game person. Actually, the only video games in my life that I've enjoyed playing are Tetris and Dr.Mario. However, trying to play tennis, bowling, and doing the crazy motions in the crazy motion game- I want a Wii. Bad. Baaaaaad. I feel like my dad will love playing it. So maybe my parents will buy it? Maybe not. Seriously. SO FUN.
Album I've been meaning to buy but haven't gotten around to yet: InOurBedroomAftertheWar, by Stars. I've heard the one song off it, and I really love it.
I've been following FredThompson pretty carefully. No, I haven't suddenly starting agreeing with the guy who once told me "I don't know how you can be a Christian and vote Democrat." My buddy Byun has been following his campaign and reporting on him. Her articles and blogs are very well written and informative (check her out on abcnews politcalradar blog). So well written and informative that it's made me decide that I would definitely not vote for Thompson. Even if I was given a lobotomy and suddenly switched political affiliations. Although, I am thinking about changing my political affiliation to independent. Cause I'm pretty sure I don't really like either major party that much. As for who I'm supporting in the party I'm registered with, I'm leaning towards Edwards, Clinton or Obama. Maybe Kucinich. I have to be honest, none of the candidates, in any party, have really sold themselves to me. Am I too cynical? Too idealistic? Well, at least I have another YEAR to figure it out.
Are there any drive in theaters left? I want to go to the drive in!
Time for bed. Say goodnight Hannah. Goodnight Hannah.
