So as much as I love California and am desperate to go home and be near family again, there's a piece of me that also loves DC and will be sad to go. I love my church, I love this city, and I kind of want to stay out here longer to watch things grow and see things happen. I'd really like to stay out here another year... but could I handle staying out here three more years? I applied to some DC law schools just for the heck of it, confident that I would be moving back to sunshine and family. But now that the possibility exists for real that I could go to school out here, I'm a little torn. I suppose I should wait and see on other schools before I really get myself all worked up. Who knew this California girl would become so enamored with the East Coast?
