I've got a case of the Mondays. Big time. But I did have a great weekend. Friday night small group came over and we played games. Saturday I went and saw another cute small baby! Hooray for little Lucie Cho!! And on Sunday I went over to the Chungs and have some good Korean food. Yum.
It wasn't all babies and food though. I also watched three movies. Friday night I finally watched Nap01ean Dynam.ite. It was good. I didn't think it was as awesome as everyone said it was though. I thought it was a good movie overall, with moments of sheer, hilarious, incredible brilliance. I think I liked certain moments more than I liked the film as a whole. Certain scenes I was hysterical with laughter. The part where Nap01ean hits his brother and runs away gave me flashbacks to my childhood. My favorite part? "Pedr0 offers you pr0tection." hahahha. Thumbs up!
Also caught "In G00d C0mpany" on Saturday night. It wasn't the romantic comedy it's being advertised as, and I was glad. It was funny, kind of sad, and really sweet. I thought Den.nis Qua.id and T0pher Grace were both great, and Charl0tte J0hanssen was pretty much eye candy. Overall, I dug this movie. Thumbs Up!
Aaaand, last night I watched the last Matrix movie on HBo. Now, usually I understand movies pretty well, and don't have trouble understand what's going on or picking up on things. The notable exception? The very end of the second Matrix movie. Once again, I had absolutely NO IDEA what the heck was going at the end of this movie. It went right over my head. If you can explain this to me, please contact me. Thumbs Down!
But the very best movie I watched this weekend was a short twenty second clip that my roommate showed me. It was this video of these people who I assumed were cheerleaders. They were at a basketball court, right next to the hoop, and it was four guys and one girl. The guys tossed the girls up like a normal toss, except that they somehow aimed it that she went through the basketball hoop as she was flipping through the air. She hit her head on the hoop, but she definitely went through the basket. And then the guys were cheering and cracking up. It was pretty sweet. Thumbs Up!!
Today is Valentine's Day. Happy Valentine's Day. I hope you have a lot of love in your life, whether from a signifigant other, or from friends and family. All you need is love.
