Some things I've been thinking about:

-How does one develop discipline?

- I think I should just accept that I am not a morning person, and stop trying to wake up early to do stuff. It just does not work. Perhaps I would be better served trying to get more stuff done between work and bed time instead of sitting in front of the TV.

- I get motion sick really easily. I was thinking about how much more I could get done on my 30 minute train ride if it weren't for the fact that I start feeling nauseous if I'm reading for too long.

- Lately, I've been more and more consumed with buying an ipod. A mini Ipod. Everytime I see one, it just calls out to me.

- Alias premieres tonight YAY!!!

- What's up with this crazy weather? It's been really warm here all week- in the 50s. Meanwhile, back home it's been really cold and rainy- in the 50s. And poor Sarah in Evanston is freezing through snowstorms.

- I'm really sad about the death of Rep. Bob Matsui. He wasn't my congressman, but I admired him as one of the first Asian-Americans to hold a leadership post in Congress. He was a really cool man and did a lot for his country and his community.

And finally:

"All I have is a voice
To undo the folded lie,
The romantic lie in the brain
Of the sensual man-in-the-street
And the lie of authority
Whose building grope the sky:
There is no such thing as the State
And no one exists alone;
Hunger allows no choice
To the citizen or the police;
We must love one another or die..."
-- W.H. Auden
