Wow. James McGreevey resigned. That is crazy-- reading that headline yesterday was crazy. I think the whole situation is pretty sad. Poor wife and kids. And McGreevey- man. I would hope that in this day and age a man would come out of the closet because he wanted to, not because he was being blackmailed and extorted. But DUDE. You're the governor! A little discretion please? Didn't the clinton/lewisnky thing teach you anything? Don't screw around with your aides, male or female! I guess the guy had to resign, due to the whole extramarital affair being sued for sexual harassment thing, but I wonder if he would have had to resign if it had just come out that he was gay? Do you think our country is in a place that it would accept gay public officials in all levels of government? Just something to ponder....
