I walked out of the Metro this morning, and heard something unusual. It's not uncommon to see people playing the violin, sax, trumpet etc. for money on the street. Today however, it was the bagpipes. Yes, a dude was playing the bagpipes on the street. Personally, I think bagpipes are appropriate for funerals and parades, but for the most part, I think they sound annoying. So I didn't give him any money.
The past couple days have been consumed by tv. Wednesday night was the season premiere of West Wing. It was intense. Hurry up and find Zoe Bartlett! I don't think she's dead.... but dude, the new president sucks. What drama! It was a good episode.... no Aaron Sorkin, but still good. Yesterday was the whole Must see TV lineup. Friends=funny. Will and Grace=kinda funny. Couplings=bad. ER-- last season I stopped watching ER, after years and years of faithful viewing, because it just got too depressing and too preposterous. I watched last night because of the addition of Parminder Nagra, of Bend it Like Beckham. She is pretty. She was pretty good... kinda personality-less though. Gross how Pratt was flirting with her... that boy has Yellow Fever. I'm curious to see the relationship between her and Jing Mei, and her and Corday. Also, that old desk clerk is racist.
Going to see Caedmon's Call this weekend!! Hooray!!
