"South Dakota? What kind of country is that? What kind of people live in there?"

So states my momma, after I tell her that SD signed a bill banning abortions, not even allowing exceptions for the case of rape or incest. She then explained to me that people in Alabama and SD were different than people in CA, and that people's opinions in this country are growing farther and farther apart. My momma is funny. And smart.
