What's going on in the world today
This may seem a little out of place with my other two posts, but I just read this article on the Washington Post, and it really struck a nerve. As women, we take for granted our relative security and freedom here. There's stuff happening out there that we need to know about, but because they're happening in places like Sudan, it becomes invisible. Forget anything else on this blog. This is the important stuff.

If we're helping to "liberate" the people of Iraq from opressors, shoudn't we be doing something here too?
